Our verification process relies on a dual-layer security system designed to provide absolute confidence in your memorabilia. Every item certified by MSA Authentication goes through a rigorous evaluation process before being entered into database.

Scan Your QR Code

To verify your item, locate the unique QR code on your Certificate of Authenticity. It should be on the top right of your card. Scan this code using your smart-phone (on most modern phones your camera app works for this on its own! If it doesn't, there are plenty of apps available in the app-store to help scan these codes.) Once scanned, your device will instantly navigate your browser to the item's official, permanent digital profile page within the MSA registry. This secure page hosts the comprehensive data matching your item, including descriptive details.

Our Tamper-Proof Sticker

In addition to the digital registry lookup, a critical step in the verification process involves inspecting the physical item for our proprietary security markers. Every authenticated piece is affixed with a serialized, holographic tamper-proof sticker bearing the word "Genuine." This hologram is engineered to fracture or self-destruct upon any attempt at removal, preventing the transfer of certification to unverified items. To complete your verification, ensure that the holographic sticker is entirely intact, free of signs of peeling or alteration, and that the serial number matches the data displayed on the digital certificate page you accessed via the QR code.

1. Ship It To Us

We receive autographs daily at either one of our offices. Items authenticated at a MSA office will have items and results sent back. Results are strictly never given over the phone.

2. Meet MSA At An Event or Appearance

On-site authentication services are provided all over the country. Save on shipping and select an upcoming event nearest you. Bring your item(s) to the event, and MSAwill accept your autographs on-site for submission. Your items are given back the same day, and you'll receive a Letter of Authenticity, Letter of Opinion or Inconclusive Letter mailed back to you after the event.
